Servicing clients in the healthcare field for over 15 years provided me with the understanding of what they are searching for emotionally. Working in rehabilitation medicine has enabled me to understand how important it is for us to protect and strengthen our bodies.
Exercising has always been part of my life. I’ve trained privately for more than 10 years in various techniques such as boxing, strengthening, yoga, and pilates and I finally discovered the right workout that works best for us as we age. Combining sports drills while cross training with yoga and pilates empowers the mind and body to feel stronger, younger and rejuvenated. It reshapes our bodies and pushes through limits.
Real Body Bootcamp began in 2008 with a small group of women in the Montclair community, called the ‘Neighborhood Workouts’. We’ve expanded this year and started to incorporate all levels of exercises for all ages and levels of fitness so that everyone can feel the benefits of the program.
Being a mother of three I understand how pregnancy can change your body. I knew it was going to take a lot of work and dedication to get my body back. I finally feel strong enough to lift my kids without hurting myself! I also feel like I’ve taken years off my life.
I truly find it to be a rewarding experience and get excited when clients tell me they are happy with their results.

The mind is a powerful tool, use it to push through limits and see positve results.
Recent certifications include, Certified IMX reformer, Piloxing Pending.

p1070621 Kenya Roman-Spoon. I have been a marketing communications consultant for approx.10 years, specializing in Hispanic and multicultural retail marketing. I truly enjoyed the retail fashion aspect of my previous job because everyday was a surprise. As a Marketing Manager for Marianne stores in Puerto Rico I developed compelling marketing campaigns targeting the local, and Hispanic consumer markets. Overall I managed the day-to-day marketing initiatives, conceived campaigns, created marketing proposals, organized photoshoots and developed community outreach programs.

I’m currently a member of the AAAA (American Association Of Advertising Agencies) and I am also the marketing administrator for Real Body.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, from William Paterson University.
I decided to join Real Body about a year ago because I wanted to lose the post baby weight that I had accumulated for 9 months. After one class I felt extremely soar but it was a good soar because it was a great accomplishment. Being that I’m not a morning person it’s not easy getting up at 5am but the quick results kept me going. After following Bernadette’s plan it wasn’t long before I lost all the baby weight and then some more. My goal was met. Fitness and good eating habits have always been a part of my life so I try to squeeze in a workout here and there to keep up with my toddler. I definitely think that exercise along with good eating habits will make you feel and look younger.
Kenya joined Real Body in 2009 because she loved it’s mission and wanted to help spread the word by adding her creative marketing style. She has proven to be a great asset to Real Body by keeping the business side in check and providing the administrative support needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

Meet Justin Procaccino: Fitness has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it was to accomplish goals of good health and being physically fit to bettering my performance on the field, fitness continuously been a main factor in my life. Challenging myself both mentally and physically to accomplish the task at hand is what attracted me to the craze of “working out.” Eventually becoming an obsession, I could not go one day without picking up an article to learn the latest trends; nevertheless, miss a workout. I fell in love with working out and all the aspects behind it. From trying new things to better myself and the people I associated with, to the struggle to keep up with the ever so changing industry, I was determined to be the “guy” who knew it all.
Going into college I was “undeclared,” not knowing what I wanted to study and do with the rest of my adult life. Suffering an injury my freshman year of college and putting an end to my football career, I had to train really hard to not only rehab my injury but to get myself back into shape. It was exercise and good programming which made me overcome my injury, not surgery and prescription medicines. At that moment, I knew that this field was perfect for me. Realizing my passion for the industry, I finally declared my major and so it begins. At Montclair State University I graduated with a Bachelor of Science, in Exercise Science. And for the first time in my life I truly felt I have accomplished something great, and I knew I was ready to make a difference in the world.
As an energetic and motivated individual I took the leap into the fitness world not only bettering myself but EVERYONE around me. I tried all the latest workouts, diets, and even the new gadgets advertised; doing this to know what’s out there and being offered to the people. I believe Titus Maccius Plautus said it best, “Practice yourself what you preach,” so I did it all and have the good and bad experiences to go with it. Knowing what was being offered, I was sure that I can offer not only a better solution to their problem, but a great experience as well. Importantly, the experience is what brings people back and eventually acquiring the results they desire. My passion to succeed drives me every day to try and help one person with their goals. It could be more; maybe two or even three, but if I do help one person than I accomplished what I set out to do and that’s change lives.
As an Exercise Physiologist, I have worked with just about every population the health and fitness industry can offer. From the corporate world, to our lovely housewives, Elite athletes, the physically impaired, and even our country’s Soldiers. I have covered it all and with my experience I know that I can bring exactly what REALBODY needs, bringing a new challenge not only to myself, but a challenge to you!
